Community Outreach + Donations

Co-op in the Community

Concord Food Co-op conducts its affairs in accordance with consumer cooperative principles. One Co-op guiding principle is to demonstrate concern for the community. In part, the Co-op delivers on this principle by providing meaningful support to our community partners.

To be considered for a donation from Concord Food Co-op, your organization must generally:

  • Be a charitable not-for-profit
  • Have a non-political and/or secular mission
  • Focus their efforts in New Hampshire
  • Be socially and environmentally responsible
  • Do work that is complementary to the Co-op’s mission

Donation Requests

Organizations wishing to receive monetary donations, raffle items, food, or other donations from Concord Food Co-op or Kearsarge Cooperative Grocer must send a written request at least 30 days prior.

Please email your request to kim@concordfoodcoop.coop or mail it to Concord Food Co-op, Attn: Marketing, 24 South Main Street, Concord, NH 03301

We enjoy the opportunity to support a variety of organizations and events in the community. However, due to the large volume of requests that we receive daily, we are unable to approve all donations.

Co-op Employee Volunteer Program

Co-op staff members are encouraged and incentivized to volunteer within our community if they choose to. We provide all active employees with the opportunity to dedicate up to eight paid hours per year of volunteering to a non-profit community organization.
