Fresh, local & organic within everyone’s reach
Concord Food Co-op is happy to accept SNAP/EBT benefits as a form of payment at both of our stores! SNAP payments are valid towards all food grocery purchases, and may not be used on non-food grocery items, supplements or body care, household products, alcohol, or our hot foods (per government-mandated exclusions – click here to see a full list of exclusions and rules). If you have any questions about what your SNAP benefits are valid towards in our stores specifically, feel free to ask our Customer Service department. They are happy to help!
Food For All Program
The Food For All program means more people in our community coming together and supporting a dynamic, locally owned cooperative that is committed to offering healthier food choices. You do not need to be a Co-op Owner to receive Food For All benefits. Individuals currently receiving assistance from certain government programs will receive a total discount of 15% at our stores as well as the opportunity to complete an Ownership investment in four years instead of one year. This discount applies to all items in the store including our “Co-op Value Price” items (everyday low prices on specific products in our stores) and our Co+op Deals sales (items that appear in our biweekly sales flyer). The Food For All program fits the Co-op’s mission to “provide our community with high-quality natural and organic foods and environmentally sound products at reasonable prices” and opens the door to folks who would otherwise not be able to become Co-op Owners.
Current and new customers qualify for the Food For All program if they currently receive assistance from one of the following programs:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as Food Stamps)
- Women, Infants, and Children (WIC)
- Free School Lunch Program
How do you apply? Just stop by one of our stores – applications are available from any cashier. Completed applications can be submitted to either store. The Food For All program discount lasts for one year, and program participants will need to re-apply annually. Food For All program membership, like all Co-op memberships, is an individual membership, good for one adult and family members living within your household.
