According to the National Diabetes Statistic Report, as of 2012, 29.1 million or 9.3% of the U.S. population have Diabetes. Of this total 21.0 million people have actually been diagnosed where as 8.1 million people go undiagnosed. Diabetes is a group of diseases marked by high levels of blood glucose resulting from defects in insulin production, insulin action, or both. Diabetes can lead to serious complications, but one can take steps to control the disease, lower the risk of complications and act preventatively. Are you experiencing fatigue, blurry vision, or an increase in thirst or hunger even though you are eating?
